ESSNEt news

The ESSNet SDC has started in the beginning of 2008. However due to other urgent work the start has been a bit slower than expected.
But the first tangible action was on 11 April 2008. The first meeting of the expert group on "Guidelines for output checking". Jan Mol, Linda Muller, Felix Ritchie, Maurice Brandt, Gianni Seri and Maurizio Lucarelli met in Voorburg.

On 5 and 6 June the general ESSNet meeting will be held in Wiesbaden. The emphasis will be on the results of the testing phase of both the "CENEX-handbook on SDC" as well as the software (ARGUS). But also the other parts of the ESSnet project will be discussed.

Many partners participated in the PSD'2008 conference and presented their results.

A successful course on Statistical Disclosure Control was organised in Ljubljana, 9-12 December 2008. Participants from Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy and Slovenia attended.
